“There is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.”

- Scandinavian Proverb

The mindset encourages children to play outside regardless of rain or cold, boosting their immunity and mental well-being.

Remember the Three-Layer Rule: To combat cold or wet weather, proponents suggest a base layer (moisture-wicking), a middle layer (insulation), and a shell (water/wind protection).

Rain gear is a must for Spring Break Camp 2026.

We will be playing in creek water, sand, mud, and all the natural elements. Be prepared for rain and mud by waterproofing your outer layers and wearing rainboots or proper footwear with warm socks.

Pack their backpacks with essentials.

Your child will need snacks, an extra set of dry clothes, toileting needs, and a water bottle.

Layer up and stay waterproof for winter weather. Rainsuits are so helpful outlayer that keep the inner layers dry and your child happy!
